Advocacy Group with RESULTS: Looking Ahead to 2026
By Susan Wright, Co-Chair of Together Women Rise’s Advocacy Group with RESULTS
The Together Women Rise Advocacy Group with RESULTS is Rise–ing in the coming year to restore and strengthen essential U.S. support for women and girls worldwide. To be even more effective this year, we will merge our advocacy interventions with those of Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) advocates from the RESULTS Global Partners Program.
We will offer webinars with special speakers at least once each quarter and more often in special circumstances. In between webinars we will send out monthly calls for specific actions for Rise advocates to take according to the legislative calendar. We will also provide hands-on coaching support with tools for effective advocacy, through sessions tailored to the needs of each advocate.
January 21: Film Screening & Discussion
We are excited to invite you to our Special Webinar on Wednesday January 21, 8-9 PM EST, 5-6 PM PT, marking one year since the U.S. Foreign Aid Stop Work Orders. Join RESULTS and Together Women Rise advocates for a screening of Rovina’s Choice, a documentary film about a mother’s impossible choice at the intersection of war, hunger, and politics. The film reveals the global ripple effects of the U.S. foreign aid freeze through the struggles of one family and will be followed by a conversation about why grassroots advocacy for foreign aid is essential in 2026.
Everyone is welcome but registration is required.
