The Future of STEM is Female

Date & Time:Thursday, November 6, 8 pm ET/5 pm PT

Guest Speaker: Annalee Abell, Development Associate at Asante Africa Foundation

In rural Kenya, young single mothers often face limited opportunities to earn a living wage, leaving them vulnerable to poverty and exclusion from the rapidly growing digital economy. With support from Together Women Rise, Asante Africa Foundation is working to change that.

Through its EmpowerHer project, Asante Africa provides digital literacy and STEM training for cohorts of single mothers, equipping them with skills that open the door to remote employment, higher incomes, and long-term economic independence. What makes this project unique is that participants are nominated by their communities—recognizing these women’s potential as leaders and change agents.

Join our November webinar to hear directly from Asante Africa about how this initiative is transforming lives, strengthening communities, and creating a pathway for single mothers in rural Kenya to thrive in the digital workforce.

This event is free, but registration is required. All are welcome!
