October 11 is a day to celebrate and take action! It’s Give to Women and Girls Day and International Day of the Girl, and Together Women Rise is shining a bright spotlight on an issue that you — and our entire Rise community — care about deeply: increasing awareness and funding for women’s and girls’ organizations!

Did you know that less than 2% of total charitable giving in the U.S. goes to women’s and girls’ organizations?

The Women’s Philanthropy Institute has released its 2023 Women and Girls Index which reports that philanthropic support for women’s and girls’ organizations is only 1.8% of total charitable giving in the U.S.

Give to Women and Girls Day aims to amplify philanthropic support for organizations — like Together Women Rise — that work tirelessly to uplift and empower women and girls around the world.

We invite you to participate in this extraordinary day of giving and action! Here’s how:

Together Women Rise’s annual appeal has just begun, and your gift will help address critical issues such as education disparities, limited access to healthcare, economic inequality, and gender-based violence.
