Funding direct services is crucial, but we know it will take more to truly achieve gender equality globally. That’s why we also fund organizations working to create broader, systemic change.
Through our Transformation Partnerships, we are addressing the root causes of gender inequality. These are longer term relationships to transform the social and cultural norms, beliefs, practices, and laws so women have equal access to resources, decision-making power, and opportunity. Because awareness is the first step toward change, education is a core part of Together Women Rise’s impact. We bring gender equality issues to the forefront, increasing awareness of the barriers faced by women around the world and how a more equal and just world will benefit everyone.
From local chapter meetings to educational webinars and trips, we provide a variety of opportunities to learn, connect, and make a difference together. Our members become well-informed advocates and supporters of global women’s rights.
At the same time, we are building community and fostering a sense of belonging!
