Thanks to the efforts of our hundreds of volunteers, Together Women Rise can better serve our grantees and members while also building a stronger community dedicated to achieving global gender equality. Come change the world with us!

Together Women Rise volunteers assist in almost all our mission areas including grant selection, community building, training, event planning, raising awareness, research, and growing our organization.

 

What Makes a Great Together Women Rise Volunteer?

We are looking for volunteers who enjoy building community and forming connections with people both nearby and globally. We have opportunities for individuals with a wide range of interests, availability, skill-sets, and backgrounds. If you are a self-starter and enjoy lending a helping hand, submit an interest form for one of our many volunteer opportunities!

 

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

You may submit an interest form for a volunteer role that is not actively recruiting. We will keep your form on file and be in contact when we are searching for volunteers in that role. Please click on the volunteer title to view a position description of that role.

Chapter Leader – NOW RECRUITING

For the change maker! Lead a local chapter where members learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, donate to organizations that empower women and girls, and build community, strengthening our collective impact.

Featured Grants Education Writer – NOW RECRUITING

For the fact finder! Research grant recipients, countries, and histories to create learning materials shared with chapters, inspiring community and breaking down cultural barriers.

Advocacy Group with RESULTS Member – NOW RECRUITING

For the activist! Influence U.S. policies and funding that create long-term change to improve the lives of women and girls internationally. Learn more about our partnership with RESULTS, a nonprofit, non-partisan advocacy organization focused on ending global poverty HERE.

Grants and Partnerships Committee Member

For the analyst! Review grant submissions and work with a team to interview applicants and provide recommendations for Together Women Rise grants.

Transformation Partnerships Education Writer

For the wordsmith! Create learning materials to support the need for systemic change in gender inequality and highlight our Transformation Partners. 

Recipe Curator

For the chef! Research, test, and create recipes from countries represented by our grantees.

Engagement Coordinator

For the conversationalist! Create a positive first impression of the organization by responding quickly and enthusiastically to inquiries from individuals interested in getting involved with Rise.

Chapter Support Liaison – NOW RECRUITING

For the adviser! Play a key role in supporting the needs of Rise chapters by building relationships and serving as the main point of contact for a small group of Chapter Leaders.

Community Connector – NOW RECRUITING

For the extrovert! Strengthen Together Women Rise’s community-building efforts by creating opportunities for existing Chapter Leaders and members to connect and engage with each other.

Trainer– NOW RECRUITING

For the teacher! Provide training and onboarding for new chapter leaders to ensure the chapter’s success and sustainability.

Ambassador – NOW RECRUITING

For the marketer! Increase awareness of  Rise with new audiences and help our organization to grow.

Advocacy Group with Results Co-Chair

For the activist leader! In collaboration with our partner, RESULTS, the Co-Chair manages and oversees all aspects of the Together Women Rise Advocacy Group with RESULTS.

Book Club Committee Member 

For the bookworm! Assist in researching and selecting books related to our mission as well as planning and hosting our online Book Club events.

Transformation Partnerships Committee Member 

For the visionary! Select and evaluate Rise’s Transformation Partnerships, ensuring the vetting and selection of partners is undertaken with integrity and transparency.

Marketing Advisory Group Member

For the marketing strategist! Provide expertise, advice and guidance regarding the marketing and communications plans and strategies required to meet goals set by Rise’s board of directors.

Grants Researcher – NOW RECRUITING

For the internet explorer! Research and identify potential grant funding opportunities from foundations and corporations that align with our mission to achieve global gender equality.
