Aubryn Sidle

Aubryn Sidle is the Global Head of Research at AMPLIFY Girls, a collective made up of 25 partners across four countries in East Africa, driving change and improving outcomes for adolescent girls and their communities. She is a 2018 Fulbright-Hays Fellow and a 2017 Cornell Engaged Graduate Student Fellow. Her research is focused on the relationship between agency, local context, program design and scale (or ‘scalability’) in girls’ education practices in Eastern Africa.

From 2010-2016, Aubryn served as the Executive Director of AGE Africa (a Together Women Rise grantee), where she built an innovative soft skills program aimed at improving girls’ retention and achievement in secondary school in Malawi. She earned her Master of Science in Development Management at the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in Anthropology and Africana Studies, magna cum laude.
