Summary
This project is a multi-pronged nutrition, agricultural, and microcredit intervention that targets new and expectant mothers in partner communities to help them build a more healthy and equitable future for themselves and their children.

Why We Love This
We love that this is a science-and evidence-based, multipronged approach that is focused on not just short-term benefits but long-term, sustainable, community-wide development. The project educates the expectant and new mothers on nutrition, health, financial literacy, crop and livestock production skills. It empowers economically by providing the women with access to capital and flexible microloans to start or grow businesses. It thus sustains community-wide food security. Through this project, women will gain knowledge and skills that enable them to raise healthy children, grow nutritious food for their household, and earn an income to achieve a more equitable future for themselves and their children.
