There are many ways to make your voice heard, including:

Email, call, or write a letter to your members of Congress. Remember to focus on representatives from your district or state. Elected officials listen to the people who can vote them in or out of office.
Write guest editorials or letters to the editor of your local newspaper. A letter to the editor of your local newspaper is an effective way to let your elected officials and community know of your passion for improving the lives of women and girls around the world, and to influence public opinion on a large scale.
